Yarrowee River Trail
The Yarrowee River Trail forms part of the Goldfields Track and links several bushland reserves with other areas of ecological significance. The trail is divided into two sections – the northern and southern sections.
Woowookarung Regional Park
Brand new picnic tables, a carpark and signage have been added to the park which provides an outstanding view of the city in a peaceful and tranquil environment.
Lake Esmond is a beautiful and safe recreational park, and a place to be enjoyed by all. A large area of surrounding parkland includes an adventure playground, walking track BBQs and toilets, treed areas and open space.
Gladstone Reserve is an ideal spot to enjoy swimming and fishing in the Ohau River, one of New Zealand’s most bio-diverse waterways. The river banks also serve as an excellent setting for picnicking and hiking, and public toilets are available.
